Merlene SingletaryThank you graciously for attending the concert "Have Ya'll Heard The News"? 2010 Gospel Explosion June 26th in Pamplico, SC. I was so elated to see you walk through the door. Its so pleasing to have people that are true to their word and dependable; and I know if your words of true made me smile, can you imagine the smile that Our Father in Heaven must have had to see His people sharing and caring, supporting and showing love; and on one accord.

Its hard to find humans these days that will stand for right-so many rather stand for whatever the majority stands for (whether its right or wrong, as long as its with the majority). Seeming not to care or realize that one day they MUST stand alone.

For others that were not at the concert, you truly MISSED OUT. Blessings flowed from the beginning of the hour all the way to the end with songs of ministry from:

1-Pamplico Pentecostal Holiness Church (all Caucasian) Praise Team (yes, all Caucasian)-with their Pastor, Dan Thompkins leading this awesome team; and man were they awesome with the anointing songs of praises. This team sure enough know how to praise and worship God! You Missed A Treat for Sure if you weren't there.

2-the 50 members of The Pee Dee Baptist (all males) Church Choir - unbelievable and amazing to see such a group of singing males pull together from one church (the Pastor Leroy Edwards included). Awesome God!!-

3-Solomon Singletary with a style only for Solomon left the audience wondering "where is he going"?

4-Frankie Davis...You Missed A Concert with one of the Best of the soothing sounds of gospel every heard.Only Frankie can tell you about the "Change that is Still Going To Come".

5-Inspiring Hank- All I can say is if one is not inspired after seeing and listening to Inspiring Hank, something is truly wrong and you desperately need to hear God say "We Can".

6-Greg Kelly- Man oh Man!! After all of those years of "missing in action" Greg came on like nothing were every taken away. I now know why he is so energetic when singing "God Can", "Show Me The Way". Along with Greg Kelly were a special guest "Mike Simpson" from Rev Howard Slim Hunt's Original Supreme Angels; and with all the advertising that had been heard about "Have Ya'll Heard The News"? - We all found out what the news were all about at this one stop Pamplico Pentecostal Holiness Church news center from the assuring sounds of Greg and the grooving Mike with the news that "Jesus Is Coming Soon" (this was; and is the news).

7-"The Doctor" - We all know that Doc can fix aannythinng. Doc sound a siren "Jesus" and those Lites took of with a rushing wind of spirit in magnifying "Jesus". Some asked, why is the doctor singing so hard? Do you think something happen to him out in the lobby? (They were the ones that don't know the power of the doctor). But, in Pamplico area where the Doctor had never performed, the talk is "I've never heard him, but I do love that man's singing". "He now has my support".

"Have Ya'll Heard The News" were the first Gospel Concert every held in Pamplico, SC, 1st concert at an all Caucasian church, first concert with Caucasian performers at a black concert in Pamplico; and anyone that attended this concert sure enough have some news to spread, and oh how they are talking and spreading the news. For sure, after Pastor Dan Thompkins and his Pamplico Pentecostal Holiness Church Praise Team, The Pastor Leroy Edwards and his Pee Dee Baptist Church 50 members Male Choir, Solomon Singletary, Inspiring Hank, Frankie Davis, Greg Kelly and Doc McKenzie, I am sure that no matter what bags were brought to this concert, no one left with a feeling of destitute; and if anyone did, "we" need to "Take It To Jesus".

Many thanks to Evangelist Dorothy Smith (MC for the evening) from Passaic, NJ; Etta Meyers (great helper and supporter), Tara Beach (ticket printer and design), Neal Singletary (runner and advisor), Mozella Davis (supporter), Otis James (flyers & tickets designer), Inspiring Hank for all the Inspiring words, encouragement and love shown through it all, and a special thanks to Pastor Dan Thompkins and Pentecostal Holiness Church, Pastor Leroy Edwards and Walker Male Chorus of Pee Dee Baptist Church, Rosie Samuels of WQYZ Radio, Darryl Bridges, Joe Smalls; and to all the friends from Santee, St. George, SC, Delaware, Buffalo, NY; New Jersey; North Carolina; Virginia; and yes - Pamplico and SC, thank you for demonstrating your love through works and not through just talk; and much love to you. May you have nothing but God's favor and much of His Blessings in your lives.

With Love and Gratitude, until the next time...(very soon)--PEACE!!
